About the Program

We invite high school and middle school students to partake in the Congresswoman’s inaugural STEM Award Program.

The program highlights student projects that demonstrate innovation, problem-solving, and real-world community impact in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Eligible projects may have been created for a science fair, academic competition, classroom assignment, or other STEM-related program.

A panel of volunteer judges and the Congresswoman will evaluate submissions based on innovation and relevance. One middle school student and one high school student will be selected as award recipients.

Award winners will be recognized by Congresswoman Strickland, and their projects have the potential to be displayed in her Washington, D.C. office for one year.
