Strickland Moderates Housing Supply Roundtable
Congresswoman Marlyn Strickland (WA-10) hosted a Housing Supply Roundtable with regional leaders to discuss the federal policy barriers to build more affordable housing and where public-private partnerships can be strengthened.

Voted to Protect Americans from DOGE and Elon Musk-Led Federal Funding Cuts
Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) voted against the extreme, Right-Wing recissions package that slashes funding for foreign aid and public broadcasting.
Strickland Questions Defense Secretary Hegseth
Congresswoman Strickland demanded answers from U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on the erasure of Army history, whether Black and minority leaders will be honored in the Army parade and asked about the Department of Defense’s support for Ukraine.
Strickland Leads Bicameral Letter to Protect Salmon Research Funding
Congresswoman Strickland, Co-Chair of the Puget Sound Recovery Caucus, sent a letter to the Secretary of the Interior, Doug Burgum, asking that the Administration halt plans to dismantle the Ecosystems Mission Area of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
Other Legislative Action
- Signed a letter, alongside other Washington state lawmakers to Secretary Noem, Acting Director Lyons, and Acting Commissioner Faulkender regarding ICE raids in Kent, WA.
- Joined the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2025, which would require that every sale of a firearm include a background check.
