Valentines Delivered to Servicemembers in South Korea

For the first time this year, Washington’s 10th Congressional District’s annual Valentines for Veterans and First Responders program expanded overseas to deliver nearly 500 valentines to JBLM soldiers deployed in Korea.

Armed Services YMCA and Joint Base Lewis-McChord Children’s Waiting Room Ribbon Cutting

Congresswoman Strickland joined JBLM and the Armed Services YMCA to cut the ribbon on their new Children’s Waiting Room. This resource will ensures that military families have access to the care they need by providing quality childcare during medical appointments.

Strickland Sends Letter to Defense Health Agency, Concerned for TRICARE West Region Beneficiaries

Congresswoman Strickland sent a letter to the Defense Health Agency expressing concerns about the transition of TRICARE West Region’s contract from Health Net Federal Services (HNFS) to TriWest Healthcare Alliance. After Strickland’s letter was sent, the Department announced that servicemembers would get a second payment update extension, now until February 28.
