Washington D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10), a leader in the Pro-Choice Caucus, released the following statement on the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA Supreme Court of the United States decision protecting Mifepristone:
“Today’s ruling is a step in the right direction, but this assault on reproductive freedom must stop. The abortion pill Mifepristone has been safe and effective for over two decades, no matter what junk science MAGA extremists try to peddle. We must continue to protect reproductive freedom, and I look forward to codifying a woman’s right to make private medical decisions.”
