Lacey, WA – Today, Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) announced her federal funding request for $103,845,644 to improve infrastructure and quality of life throughout the South Sound region.
“I remain focused on building a safer, healthier, and more connected South Sound,” said Strickland. “Federal investments in our region improve the quality of life for residents, and lays the groundwork for economic growth and opportunity.”
Strickland’s FY26 funding requests target a wide range of community priorities. From Olympia to Tacoma, the requested federal funds will boost improvements, including more recreational options, safety upgrades, expanded regional access, and the revitalization of local economies across Washington’s 10th Congressional District.
