Lacey, WA – Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) visited General Plastics Manufacturing Company, a Tacoma-based small business working in aerospace production.
“Located in South Tacoma, General Plastics has been a leader in American manufacturing for over 80 years,” said Strickland. “Our local workers, small businesses, and manufacturers are our economic engine in uncertain times.”
Strickland toured the company’s production facility and met with leadership to learn more about General Plastics’ strategic partnerships with major defense and aerospace companies, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
General Plastics has been a cornerstone of American manufacturing for over 80 years and a contributor to cutting-edge advancements. Strickland remains committed to supporting innovation, workforce development, and small businesses across the South Sound.
