**MEDIA ADVISORY** Strickland to Hold Virtual Housing Town Hall

Washington, D.C. — Tomorrow, Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (D-WA) will host a virtual Housing Town Hall with guest speakers, Craig Chance, Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Thurston County and Sarah Saadian, Vice President of Public Policy at the National Low Income Housing Coalition. The Town Hall will take place on Thursday, June 24th, 2021 at 6:30 PM PT on Zoom, and it will be streamed live on Facebook. During the Town Hall, the Congresswoman will provide an update on her work to address federal housing issues, including delivering immediate and direct relief in the American Rescue Plan Act to help keep families and workers housed during the pandemic and introducing the bipartisan Build More Housing Near Transit Act to help tackle America’s housing crisis and boost public transit use. Strickland will also hear from WA-10 constituents, discuss issues critical to the South Sound, and take questions alongside guest speakers.
